`JEEVA` HAYAGIDHE, JEEVA JORAGIDHE JEEVA JASTHIYAGIDHE!
Posted date: 27/November/2009

This is the best performance film of Prajwal Devaraj. He has very good scope for acting, his costumes are different, action, romance, sentiments and dance all rolled in this film in abundance. The only flow of this film is the length especially in the second half. The bottle set song could have been avoided. Instead of showing the hero in the drunken stage with a song just one scene would have been enough. As for as the story is concerned it dates back to three decades old but some new attempt in screenplay that keep the audience hooked to the seats.

A minister son Jeeva and insurance agent daughter Jayanthi are in love. The reason for Jayanthi to immensely love is the quantum of affection Jeeva shows. Now the parents of both the families agree what is the fuss in engagement? It is set but Jeeva comes in a drunken state and cancel his engagement insulting Jayanthi. Why does he do so? It is because he has read the medical reports of his that points to brain tumor. Jeeva decide to end his life and takes the excess of insulin injection but he learns from the doctor the reports of another patient Jeeva and his is exchanged. For committing a grave mistake the doctor in shame comes forward to set right the things. His advices Jeeva take on mobile what he should do save his life. The briskness of the film also mounts up. On the other hand Jayanthi is all set to marry another boy. How the twists and turns further keep going is interesting fact.

Prajwal shines very well in this film. He is the main stay of the film. The action portions are thrilling. In two songs he looks very romantic. The three get up for him also jell well for him. Ruthwa has done an impressive role but the dialogue dubbed for her portion is very impressive. Gurudut as a doctor and Chandrasekhar as minister are convincing.

Gurukiran has scored two lovely songs – Nanage Beku….is peppy and Summane Yake Bandhe Minchanthe Nanna Mundhe…is very melodious. Sabha Kumar has given every frame look decent and colorful.

This a good film to watch for the week end.
