The promising duo directors Karan and Anirudh made a right catch of Girikrishna story and look at the screenplay and dialogues happening from Anirudh Mahesh Giri Krishna and additional screenplay and dialogues happening from Pruthvi Kantha L, Shanil Guru, Praksh Thuminad that gives a strong base. The chances of winning first happened on the papers.
A film with real happenings – Honnavalli Krishna, actor of over 1000 films working as assistant director for over 100 films but not becoming the director in his lifetime so far, is told on the silver screen with a humor base and lovely acting besides good music and cinematography.
A senior production house Sandesh Combines has made the right selection in ‘Hari Kathe Alla Girikathe’ – there is no hurry but all Giri story!
This is close to the hearts of all assistant and associate directors of Kannada cinema. The travails and tribulations are touchingly told. This is the film with three aspirants in the cinema field. The satirical moments of this, although tickling funny bones are sensible too!
There are three Giris in the film - Director Giri, Villain Giri and Girija. All three have different tales. All three want to enter the film field. The directors narrate the tale of the trio in flashback.
The trio on other hand tries to make a film of their own. With such a tough time for the trio the director’s duo do not fall back in making situations boring.
Rishab Shetty is having a cake walk. Himself a director has gone on a berserk to keep up the momentum. The father and son emotions – Rishab and Honnavalli Krishna are meaningful parts.
Rachana Inder catching the ‘Hava’ dialogue of Rocking star Yash film looks pretty and done well. Thapaswini is a beautiful heroine to watch in the coming films. Pramod Shetty as cop evokes laughter, the portions of Dinesh Mangaluru, Kiran Shetty are admirable.
Vasuki Vybhav shows caliber again in the music department. The song Junior Monalisa…is top class. The cinematography is in top gear. Editing for this film and the costumes are other scoring points of this film.
This is a good entertainer and you cannot miss it in your entertainment list.
