A neatly stitched comedy film with sorrow here and there plus lovely music is packed in ‘Govindayanamaha’ Kannada cinema that got released on this Friday.

Producer of Suresh Arts – KA Suresh, Pawan Wadeyar and Komal Kumar have jointly given a mass entertainer. The audience would laugh for the dialogues and movements of Komal Kumar frequently.

Of course there are dialogues that are direct instead of double meaning. All of them give whistle in the theatre. The highest whistle and applaud when the song Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe….Namdhuke Jaan Ge Hogbuttaithe appears before interval.

What is this Govindayanamaha all about? Govinda (Komal Kumar) is a fun loving youngster. He comes to his grandfather place where he meets Vaidehi. He is not interested in her but in the money his grandfather gives he run away leaving Vaidehi. With Rs.1 lakh on hand he wants to enjoy but he meets Mumtaaz when he saves her father from virtual death. Love develops and song of Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe… stars. Mumtaaz is not happy with the observations of Govindu. She declines to marry him. A cab driver now Govindu gets in touch with Staisy (Ana Georgia). He likes her because she has a diamond ring worth Rs.5 lakhs. When he does not get it, he is no more interested in her.

The last in the waiting is Sheela (Rekha). Govindu finally falls completely for her charm but when she is sleeping with someone else he feels disgusted.

A few of the explanation on the roof of a huge building and rest in the hospital room Govindu describe to Karthik who is also on the verge of death for love failure.

In the hospital Mumtaaz knows that after all Govindu likes him the calculations change. Karthik declines to end his life looking at various complications in Govindu.

It is convincing in many parts. The happenings look natural but ‘Swayamkrtutha Aparadha’ of the hero.

Komal Kumar steals the show from his dialogues and some of them are below the belt. Among four Ana Georgia looks most beautiful. Parul has acted well. Madhulika is like a fresh flower and senior actress Rekha is simple and effective.

Gurukiran is the real boss of this film music. The title card song, Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe….Modha Modhalu Heegene…. are well composed. The satellite telecast should have been better because that has direct impact on cameraman Suresh Babu.

Worth a film to watch, laugh and correct in life.
