`PYAR GE AGBUTAITHE` HALF HEARTED ATTEMPT
Posted date: 06 Fri, Sep 2013 – 10:52:15 PM

There is no full zoom required for Komal Kumar cinema. Of course Komal Kumar in his first dialogues for his portion made some exercise but it is not brilliant. More fun was needed from this film director Kavin Bala. No punching dialogues is major drawback of this film.

With Komal Kumar in the cast the audiences come for very funny and peculiar situations. They are not fed precisely what they expected. Director Kavin Bala should have studied the good and winning films of Komal Kumar for giving something very good. This is based on ‘Bombay to Pune’ Marathi play. It is Bangalore to Mysore in this film.

Director Kavi Bala has not taxed the producer with heavy expenditure. Throughout the film the hero and heroine are in one pair of costume. All places of Mysore is captured in the camera. It is a good trip to Mysore on screen.

In a nutshell the phone call made from one number to same number is the solution stage for the film. The pretty looking heroine Miss Bangalore (Prarthana) comes to Mysore and her mobile goes out of order. It is in this mobile phone she has the number of a person she is asked to meet. She is duped by an auto driver on tracing the address. She meets street side Mr Mysooru (Komal Kumar).

It is a love and hate relationship between the two. Finally it is Mr Mysooru wins through his good behavior. In the meantime she gets the cell number of a person whom she wants to meet from her mother. When she calls the reply comes positively. She is asked to wait for a few hours.

For the last time Miss Bangalore takes the mobile of Mr Mysooru and calls up before she takes the train to Bangalore. It is at this moment it is revealed that she is calling up the same number from the same mobile. By this time she understands how she got fooled.

Mr Mysooru ask Miss Bangalore to say ‘I Love You’ at least now. She goes to Bangalore saying ‘Amele’!

Komal Kumar wanted more punches and more funny situations. Prarthana is pretty. She has not got the opportunity of regular heroine because she is in just one costume throughout the film.

This is a film you can watch in free time.
