What a brilliant action from the threesome. Action hero Vijay, action films producer Ramu and action films director PN Sathya keeps the mass audience in mind and gives chilling action film with dose of sentiment.

The six power action portions and several villains floored by Vijay are scintillating although far away from reality. With a title like ‘Shivajinagara’ (killings make it ‘Shavajinagara’) director PN Sathya has added a small sentiment story that is not very fresh.

As a gutsy youngster Raam says he is Raam, Rahim and Rakshas to trouble shooters. In this 132 minutes, 27 seconds ‘A’ certificate film the protagonist is compared to ‘Haddu’ – how it waits and hits is the quality of the hero.

In the family life engineering student Raam is upset because his father has two wives – Triveni and Sumithra. He grows up in Basavanagudi house and later shift to Shivajinagara residence.

How Ram takes on Fayaz and gang is major portion. The film starts off with murder of big don Fayaz in the public place. When the hunt for the killer is made our action hero comes before the trouble shooters because he is ‘Bala Bheema’. He can fly, turn around in the air, pierce sharp edge weapon before the opponent lift their arms, he is a dhobi when he punches the villains.

It is Mohammad Ali, son of Fayaz return to settle the score for his father death creates further trouble. In the meantime there is charming Pavithra (Parul Yadav) who is waiting to get married to Raam. Pavithra joins Raam after her marriage to cop Aditya Menon.

There are lilting tunes from Jassie Gift. Parul Yadav dancing ability is excellent like the action ability of hero Vijay is. Daniel Balaji and Ashish Vidyarthi have done well. Both look typical Muslim guys.

Avinash scores in the sentiment roles. Triveni come back after 18 years is in a convincing role of mother. Camera work of Selvam is another high point of this film.

If you want to have a chilling action cinema feast. This is the best choice.
