Another new hero is born on this Friday from ‘Dove’ Kannada cinema. That is Anoop Sa Ra Govindu. He is a little shy on screen, looks good has the action ability and delivery of dialogue is quite impressive.

What is not impressive is ‘Alemari’ Santhu direction. He has picked the real life incident of ‘Ring Road Shuba’ and laced with love journey of Anoop and Aditi in the film. The episode of Rakesh Adiga and Modala Sharma is similar to Ring Road Shuba.


In addition to such a lapse, director Santhu has not showcased a debut hero in a proper way. Among the ‘Navarasas’ it is precise to give different possibilities for a hero. Anoop should have been under a talented director for his debut.


Very humble and innocent producer BK Srinivas must be feeling bad for not highlight his name and photographs on the silver screen. BK Srinivas must be feeling bad for naming a bar and restaurant as ‘Harsha Bar and Restaurant’.


However the story is simple. Anoop falls in love with Aditi. Convincing on both the side is quite easy. What is difficult for innocent Anoop is a bike that becomes a part of ‘Ring Road’ killing of a bridegroom. Anoop is sentenced to imprisonment. He is very confident that he is not the one police are looking. The case becomes tough because the bridegroom is son of a senior cop. How Anoop traces the murders who are cruel KGF gang is rest of the story. The climax is very harsh and cruel.


Anoop has made a good journey. He has to improvise to some extent. Then he will be a regular hero. His selection should be good for a long stay. We have not seen a clean shaven Anoop in this film. Aditi Rao has nothing to tap her talent.


Avinash, Veena Sunder, Jai Jagadish, Rangayana Raghu, Sharat Lohitashva are good. The pair of Rakesh Adiga and Modala Sharma is bold.


Some of the dialogues in the film could have been avoided because a Kannada activist Sa Ra Govindu son is the hero of the film.


Arjun Janya has two good songs. Camera work of Chandrasekhar is admirable.


For the debut hero Anoop Sa Ra Govindu this film ‘Dove’ is worth watching.
