The first beauty of this film is location that is a feast to eyes; the second beauty is very nice looking Naina Sarvar, good performance from Avinash Narasimharaju and Nikil. The third beauty of this Ooty Kannada film is music.

Yet there is dearth for this film because debutant Mahesh Kumar followed the bookish style of presentation. When he shows a big change over in Avinash Narasimharaju character, for heroine the same age is maintained. The changer over from Nikil to Avinash Narasimharaju in 12 years is huge.

The screenplay of this film should have been made very strong for appealing to the audience. The second half actually lifts up the moment. The guess whether the separated lovers would reunite or not is interestingly narrated.

For the purpose of second half end, the time to spend without much happening is what distressing to ticket buyers.

Avinash Narasimharaju has come out with a cool performance for this hot summer. Naina Sarwar is a heroine to watch in the coming days.

Three songs of this film are well above average, the 25th film of music director Raj Bhasker is a good film to claim. Cinematography of Selvam deserves to be in the competition for awards.

‘Ooty’ could have been a much better cinema with some more stunning elements in the first half.
