It is not an exaggeration but a fact. Laugh is the best medicine in this world. Laugh is assured in this film from dialogues especially. Dialogue writer Nataraj at a few places crosses the limit like how a few of the artists scream in delivering dialogues.

On the whole it is ‘Dosthi’ of Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila in the big bad city meeting a few peculiar situations.

Rangayana Raghu in more matured role compared to his earlier side kick roles has performed like any top hero of Kannada cinema. That is because the principles of his character. Rangayana Raghu role carries lot of intelligence and philosophy. That is the requisite of a hero role. Gulping a few pegs let us give some excuse for Rangayana Raghu role. How he interacts with Ashwini character and how he uses his intelligence is convincing.

Sadhu Kokila on the other hand continues his comedy roles of other films. Yet he wins because of his style of dialogues. We feel pity when he is beaten by Roopasri in the middle of the road. The love he expresses is something very special for Sadhu Kokila.

The two thick friends go out for meeting their priorities. Ranga wants to search his uncle Venkateswhara (Avinash) so that the ‘Hebbettu’ he gets would solve the crisis of 10 acres of land in his village.

Khadir (Sadhu Kokila) on the other hand giving up his pick pocketing and joining Ranga in the garage is in love with Roopasri – Baddi Bangaramma – she is coined as ‘Baddi Magalu’ in the film. They exchange their tasks and starts operating. They succeed but some suspense reveal in the process as the film comes close to curtains down in the theatre.

You have to enjoy for the Paisa what you have given. Let us not reveal the remaining suspense of ‘Banana’.

Rangayana Raghu scores very well. He is sure to get some award for this interesting role. Sadhu Kokila dialogues are a treat once again. Both R and S have freaked out well and made it look cool.

Avinash, Mimicry Dayanand have different roles. Avinash role shouts a lot straining the nerves. Roopasri has got the best of her career. Ashwini looks like a very good aunty.

Arjun Janya song ‘Rodige Taaru….Muddege Saride Niddege Dimbide….Chaddi Dosth…Dosth…are good numbers. Kumaran cinematography is competitive.
