The massive structure of Kannada Chalanachitra Kalavidara Sangha was inaugurated on 8^th February by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah situated on Pampa Mahakavi Road, opposite Kannada Sahitya Parishat adjacent to popular newspaper Vijaya arnataka office. The Chalanachitra Kalavidara Sangha is named after Dr Rajakumar – it is Raj Bhavan!

Kannada Chalachitra Kalavidara Bhavana set up in 27000 square feet will have space for acting training, gym, Yoga, Dhyana, screening, a digital library, discussion room, conducting press meets, screen is available for censor board and several other activities are planned. For necessary training leading personalities will be roped in to give expert advice.

This is the biggest one in the entire Indian cinema Industry is what learnt after taking a look at the three floors buildings.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah from his busy schedule came to the inauguration, he cut the tape and took part in the formal Pooja that was attended by Dr Ambarish, Rockline Venkatesh, Doddanna, Dr Shivarajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Dhuniya Vijay, Jai Jagadish, Hamsalekha, Ramesh Aravind, Dr B Saroja Devi, Hema Chaudhary, MN Lakshmi Devi, Pramila Joshai, Vijayalakshmi Singh, politicians Anand Singh, Zamir Ahmed and others.

Later Chief Minister Siddaramaiah came to the third floor of the building where digital screening theatre of over 300 capacities is set up. It is state of the art technology. The tribute to veterans was on the screen - not living with us today. Later two songs of Dr Rajakumar and one song of Dr Ambarish was witnessed by guests.

Dr Ambarish later addressed the media on the ground floor. He remembered the dream of Dr Rajakumar in coming up with a Kalavidara Sangha. When the site was locked in legal problems in Jayanagar, we approached the then chief minister JH Patil for this piece of land. Revanna was housing minister. We got this place. Adjacent space was also required that was approved by V Somanna as housing minister. But the possession of the entire plot was when I was the Housing Minister. Two persons who worked very hard for this building to come up are Rockline Venkatesh – he has allotted time from his busy schedule of cinema production, construction, Malls etc. Doddanna senior actor secretary of the Kalavidara Sangha despite of ill health stood up to this structure thanked Dr Ambarish.

Dr Ambarish thanked several people who contributed for the building to come up. Kalavidara Sangha has two more days’ event. Dr Ambarish urged the media to write positively on the Sangha that has come up today.
