The ETV Empire headed by Ramoji Rao has shifted its business to Colors channel owned by Viacom 18 three years ago. The regional branches of ETV are now called as ‘Colors’ one by one. Colors was evolved six years ago on July 21, 2008.

Formal announcement of change of name from ETV Kannada to Colors Kannada was made on Monday night by business head Mr Parameshwara Gundakal at Windsor Manor Hotel. It has been 14 years of ETV flagship changing its colors and henceforth it is called as ‘Colors Kannada’.

‘Onde Sambanda Ade Anubanda’ says Parameshwara Gundkal proudly. Out of 54 hours entertainment programs in which 13 are mega serials, 10 are original TV serials. We are second in raking says PG.

For the formal announcement before the audience the program of 26th April is very special for Colors Kannada. A flashback of many top programs of ETV is also focused and it is just a nameplate change.

ETV News remains as it is and now the new programs would continue to entertain as ever with Colors Kannada says PG.
