In the maiden film in Kannada Nana Patekar gives a chilling performance and it is no different from his earlier Hindi films. It is Yogish taking the big responsibility of this role shines in many places. Yogish has thoroughly enjoyed the role in the film made by his dad TP Siddaraju.

Based on the Bhagavad Geetha Shloka Yada Yadahi dharmasya…..the film is a revenge saga has the strong shades of Hindi film ‘Drohakaal’.

Yogaraj Pulakeshi (Nana Patekar) after gunning 50 persons in his encounters as dare and devil cop is put down by Punja and team. How Yogaraj Pulakeshi son Yaksharaj Pulakeshi takes the revenge plus timely intervention of Prakruthi Banavasi are interesting elements for the front benchers.

What is not good in this film with good production values is that the audience could easily guess the turn of events.

Yogish has given a cool performance and his dancing ability is once again good. Rubi has not much to do. Her ‘Sonta’ is super in the son of Lakshminarayana Bhatta Nanna Iniyana Nalla Balleyenu….

Nana Patekar has stolen the second half of the film. Sharanya, Master Hirannaiah, Atul Kulkarni, Kishore are impressive.

Anoop Seelin has given three lovely tunes. KS Chandrasekhar has done another great job. The grandeur is always to the eyes of the audience.
