Billed as the Karan Johar of Kannada cinema director Indrajith Lankesh craftsmanship is seen more in the stylish presentation of the movie ‘Huduga Hudugi’.

Indrajith Lankesh has targeted the youths of this generation particularly and given a substantial stuff to check it out! The grandeur of this film is the production values, colorful scenes, witty moments, superb sets and admirable screenplay that is different from the usual style to the Kannada film audience.

With a wafer thin story – the rich and middle class not combining appropriately and opportunistic feelings expressed in the flash back this ‘Huduga Hudugi’ is quite competitive film to the present genre.

Indrajith Lankesh kicks start the film with a sizzling title track with sizzling foreign beauties. Indrajith can try out some sophisticated roles!

The clever anchor Sachin (Dhyan) has the extra strength in attracting audience attention. On the other hand Sonia (Lekha Washington) is asked to do the anchor job with Sachin. Sonia is infuriated with this move yet she agrees to the demand of her boss. In the process of co hosting the shows Sonia and Sachin turn friends. Sachin helps Sonia in overcoming the trouble spots in her life. In the process he explains his past in which a distinction student Sachin gets good facelift to Sada to become a doctor. After becoming a doctor Sada find a different match and that is a big lash on the face for Sachin. After knowing the past of Sachin it is Sonia term to know more clearly her fiancé Raj Deshpande. The marriage almost fixed between Raj Deshpande and Sonia is it going to happen? You have to watch with your partner or friend.

Dhyan looks comfortable in the role and Lekha Washington in some costumes looks glorious. But it is Ileana and Biaenca Desai who come in one song strikes for excellent screen presence. Sada in the flash back is OK. The brother of Sonia Chotu is a good choice! Rekha and Ramakrishna suits well.

There is some comedy and imitating of real life characters and channel heads in the programs that Indrajith Lankesh could have avoided.

The opening song is glorious and Indrajith Lankesh has lovely looks. There are two more passable songs. Gundlupet Suresh camera work is superb. The interiors and exteriors he has captured with a touch of class.

‘Huduga Hudugi’ is yet another stylish film from Indrajith Lankesh the grandeur supersedes all in the film.
