Is it enough if one has the technical brilliance? What about the entertainment? What about the audience interest in the mind of the director? What happened to the crispy style of narration?

Debutant PC Shekhar in this film ‘Nayaka’ is not careful and watchful. He has failed in making the first film an entertainer for the masses. All those who have done experiments withered away in the box office. While burning the money of the producers the debutant have to be 200 percent watchful. Because it ditches many in case of failure!

What is interesting about Nayaka? There is toughness for this film and outdoor locations are well seen in the national geography and discovery channels. Yet the struggle for love and its survival at last is interesting factor. Even that is expected as the reels pass.

Of course it is a Herculean task for the protagonist to get rid of Nagappa. He is poisonous than venom in the jungles. When Arjun reaches this place to release his lover Madhu he is almost exhausted yet the strength builds up in him to banish Nagappa the muscular man without weapons fights with Arjun.

Whenever Ragini is on screen there is liveliness. She is an actress with tremendous ability. The opportunity for her is limited in this film. She is lost in at least eight reels of the film.

Arjun is muscular in his build has the freaking out nature and another contender for the action films. If he takes care on the logic part it will be fine.

One sorrow song is passable. A song in motorbike journey is pleasant. Cinematography by Murali Krish is acceptable.
