This Vijay starring ‘Kanteerva’ is very delicious like honey to his fans. Vijay applies honey to take out ant from the hip of Rishika Singh the sequence is very juicy! What a discovery indeed to catch an ant!
The macho hero Vijay Kanteerava on Kannada Nadu is ‘Singumalai’ in Kerala. He is the darling of masses in both the places. On his trip to get the daughter of his Master Ramachandrappa he takes on two vital villains – Bala Saheb and Balan Nair – Mukesh Rishi and Rahul Dev the two wooden artists. That earns the people of Thiruvanthapuram praise for him. So in front of the idol Kanteerava is coined as Singumalai and offered Abhisekham.
Such a loving and interesting person is pierced with an iron rod by Indra (Shuba Punj). That is because he has gunned down Indra father Bhanuchander when he is about to catch the train. The reason behind this is very strong which has not come to the notice of Indra.
It is not better to inform some interesting clues of this film a remake of ‘Simhadri’ Telugu film. Action lovers have another treat after Darshan’s ‘Boss’ that is ‘Kanteerava’ of Vijay.
Vijay has given stunning performance in action. He has specially designed weapon. He holds the ring in his hand and in one shot put down the villain gang. Vijay has comedy portions to perform when he sees the ‘Sonta’ of two heroines – Rishika Singh and Shuba Punja. He has enjoyed with the ‘Sontas’!
Rishika Singh is a daring heroine in debut. She gets more applaud when she appears on the screen. Her physique is an advantage for her. Shuba Punja looks fat but she is good in innocent performance.
Srinivasamurthy is as usual good but Bhanuchander the Telugu actor looks tired. Sadhu Kokila and Mandya Ramesh are superb in the comedy department.
Chakri has given two lovely tunes and cinematographer Dasari Srinivasa Rao is glorious in his work.
