The first New Year gift to fans of Shivarajakumar has come in form of ‘Lakshmi’ Kannada film – technically high graded cinema with scintillating performance from Shivarajakumar and Priyamani.

At the time of border issue of India and Pakistan, the terrorist activities a film like ‘Lakshmi’ is a much needed relief.

Third film of director Raghav Loki is not missing in any glitz and glamour besides serving a caution to trouble shooters for this country. Like the Babylonian civilization the protagonist picks the route of plucking the thorn from a thorn. With blast data ready with one of the highest trouble shooting terrorist head in Hong Kong, the protagonist places the family of terrorist for retaliation. You do your job and I will do my job says ‘Lakshmi’ – that makes the terrorist head to demolish his destruction plans.

It is often said India is fit to be ruled. Communist approach is also regarded the need of the day for mistakes happening and trouble mongers going scot free.

Going in search of his wife Priya who is now Rashmi in the den of biggest terrorist gang to the shock of his life Lakshmi finds his daughter. The arrival of Lakshmi to Hong Kong is considered as a major blow and the terrorist leader Ashish Vidyarthi gives all sorts of trouble.

When Lakshmi realizes that his wife Priya has ditched him in life it is not so says the director. Priya as Reshma has come with a purpose and like her husband Lakshmi she is also a CBI officer. It is the project that Priya submits moves the head of CBI.

It is not that easy demolition for Lakshmi and Priya. They struggle and teach a lesson via sentiments too in the climax.

There has been a grand increase in the capacity of director Raghav Loki. In the screenplay department the film is excellent. For those who are experts in making correct guesses this film offers a big test right from the first entry of Lakshmi.

Who says Shivarajakumar is fifty in age. He is perfect for the role. In sentiments, lively moments and dance he steals the show. Priyamani not only looks pretty and dashing in her costumes but she is right choice for the role.

Ashish Vidyarthi, Gurudut, Dilipraj, Avinash, Adarsh, Saloni, journalist colleague Yethiraj have given right requirement.

The graphic technology of this film is the high point of the film. Never the situations leave a feeling it is CG work. Kudos to Bharani Minerals team for giving latest but best results in CG!

Gurukiran and KS Chandrasekhar are the other two masters in the film ‘Lakshmi’, Three songs of Gurukiran are well tuned and it has great life to be on top of the chart.

Every shot of Chandrasekhar in the camera looks superb with color and exotic locations added to this good work.

Cut down 20 minutes plus in ‘Lakshmi’ it is further interesting, engaging and entertaining.

This is worth a dekko by family audience!
